GO TO THE BEGINNING OF THE BLOG
We've made more progress... yaaaayy!
The addition of a new rug completed the small guest bedroom [you can click on the pictures for a larger view].
We also repainted the hallway because white walls washed out the nice white moldings. Used the light tan [antique white] from the master bedroom.
Then we ordered [on Wednesday] and installed components [on Friday and Saturday] for our walk in closet... nice not to have everything in the laundry room. We purchase the closet components from a New Jersey company called EasyClosets.com and got everything in two days via UPS [19 boxes about 25-50 lbs each]. They are not the "showcase" units that can cost thousands of dollars more, but they are sturdy [3/4" boards] composite and melamine surface engineered materials that are well made and quite simple to install. Only one defective piece: a drawer handle would not accept the attaching bolt, so I've requested a replacement and then can install the drawer front.
Kathy has ordered some blinds for the house and installing them will be my next project.
More to come.
