Yesterday, the concrete was poured for the garage and porch. Today when we arrived at the cottage, the truck was dumping its load on the driveway and the men were spreading it in the forms.
It is a perfect, cool, sunny day for doing this work. Of course, it is fall and that is an oak tree next to the driveway and oak trees drop their leaves this time of the year, so... the poor guys are grabbing the leaves off the concrete as fast as they can before they become embedded or leave a leaf pattern on the surface.
The good news... Lou from Pine Building said there is no extra charge for the patterned concrete. ;-}
